Hi, I’m Atom!

Guided by deep respect for all living beings, my humble curiosity has led me around the world foraging knowledge & cultivating skills now rooted joyously in Vermont. I love cooking, riding my bicycle year-round, & I've played percussion all of my life.

Consent empowerment & informing are the foundations of my practice. Matching the body’s ever changing nature, I seek to be adaptive & receptive to clients’ needs as they evolve. As an endurance athlete myself, I offer insights honed pushing my own body well beyond its limits.

My approach is slow & intentional, guided by the deep rhythms resonating beneath the surface, allowing time to transform tissue & encouraging space to re-orient the body towards wholeness. In an era where we engage with technology more than we do other living beings, bodywork represents a revolutionary shift in our paradigm.

I am honored to do this work & welcome all bodies wherever they are arriving emotionally, spiritually, & physically.

My Offerings

Custom Therapeutic Massage

This type of massage involves the manipulation of soft tissues to alleviate pain, reduce tension, and promote overall relaxation. A variety of techniques including deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, abdominal massage, acupressure, myofascial release*, and trigger point therapy may be used to create a session that is specific to your individual needs.

*Myofascial Release: Our entire body is covered by one continuous layer of tissue called fascia. Myofascial release is a modality of bodywork that directly engages the fascia through slow, consistent pressure with very little lubrication. The goal of this work is to lengthen the fascia which can help to increase mobility, relieve tension, and be supportive for those suffering from chronic pain.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is a specialized form of massage therapy that seeks to improve performance, prevent injuries, and speed up recovery time for athletes of all levels; from recreational to professional, dog-walker to olympian. Using techniques that include trigger point therapy, myofascial release, Thai table yoga, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, and Active Release Techniques, sports massage helps reduce muscle tension & soreness, increase flexibility and improve range of motion which can lead to improved performance and decreased risk of injury.

Treatment note: Sports massage intake may include postural, walking, and range of motion assessment. We ask that you please wear/bring shorts and a t-shirt/tank top/sports bra to your sessions.
